We went to Howie's with a larger group and had a room to ourselves. The ambiance was amazing. I loved the lighted candles and décor. Really a beautiful place to eat. The food was very good. But the chips were the best we had in Scotland. Also, the waiters were very helpful and friendly. While in Aberdeen, I would really recommend Howie's. The pictures on the TripAdvisor site do not do it justice.

We celebrated our sons 30th with a meal at Howies . The evening went without a hitch with first class food and attentive and pleasant staff who went out of their way to accommodate our needs .

We had a pre-theatre meal which was only booked the day before. Have been here on several occasions and find that the standard of food and service is always very consistent. Mussels as a starter was delicious, followed by shoulder of pork with lovely sage mash and apple sauce. My appetiser was homemade foccacia with oil and balsamic vinegar, and to follow the rump of lamb with carrots and potato strips. We ended on espressos with drambuie! Amazing food at amazing value! Highly recommend it! Staff very friendly and efficient.

Howie's really is a wee gem. The Meal deal they offer is FANTASTIC and the food is divine. Have been on a few occasions and there is no difference in the quality of the food or service if you are there at a table of 2, 4, 6 or over 20. The staff are a joy too - so friendly and knowledgeable.
