An excellent Steakhouse with an Italian emphasis. Lively, slightly noisy energetic atmosphere especially in the bar area. Amazing how busy they stay considering they are more than a bit pricey. The food and the service seem to justify the price point. I recommend the Veal. Great bread- light and airy and eggy, I believe- almost more like a muffin.

First time visit and we were well pleased. Hotel had a coupon that did help with the cost but food and service were excellent and the experience was well worth the cost for a special night out

We were pleasantly surprised to see they had outdoor seating which is always a plus for dinner. Wonderful crab cake as an appetizer. I had scallops that had just come in today and were absolutely delicious especially in the way they were presented. The service was excellent, always making sure we had what we needed, but never in the way. Lots of friendly attention.

We ate here before seeing a movie on Sunday at Phipps. The food was really good. We had two salads for apps and I had the mahi-mahi and she had the Yellowfin Tuna. We shared a side of brussels. One of the salads came out with all of the items we requested be left off or placed on the side. I figured this would happen when the server didn't write down our order (a pet peeve of mine when you have special requests). Additionally, her entree was not prepared as we requested. Again, a failure to write down that she prefers her fish cooked thoroughly. It came out pink in the center, rather than as requested and had to get sent back 2 times to get it right. I hate sending food back, but she can't eat raw or undercooked seafood. I'd give Davio's another shot in the future due to convenience to Phipps and hope the service improves. The server was also sneezing and coughing a lot, which is disturbing when they are handling food in a nice restaurant. I wish they would send staff home that are sick.
