  • This was our second visit and I was more impressed than on my first. You have to realize that this is true traditional Italian. There is no "meat lovers" or Hawaiian" pizzas because they are not real pizzas.There is only one pizza with meat on it but that is not their best pizza. We found the staff to be very good. As in all restaurants I think most of the staff were backpackers but they were well trained and polite. The atmosphere was great. The restaurant was full but not noisy. I thoroughly recommenced this restaurant for lovers of Italian food. The prices are very reasonable. We had a table of six and the bill was $205 including wine and beers.

  • These guys weren't too bad, food was pretty good but the customer service let them down. Maybe it was a bad night as we'd been told by plenty of people to head down and check it out. Sadly for us, we got to over hear an argument in the kitchen and the drinks service was slow so decided to get our meals takeaway. Very awkward, oh well at least the food was good. That's what matters.

  • The pizzas were quite nice (except that they went soggy after about 5min on the table). The problem however was with the menu. We specifically went on a Tue for the FB advertised "Pizza and Peroni for $22" special. We asked the waitress, she had no clue what we were talking about. After management enquiries we were told it was a very very old special and not on anymore (it's been on FB since 1/3/16, hardly very old!!) Then the menu for the night was pizza only, nothing else. Rather embarrassing since we checked the menu online to make sure there were options for our vegan, gluten free friend. None of the antipasto, pastas or salads were available, in fact the menus had been cut with scissors to only show pizzas. C'mon guys!! Really?!?! And it still took quite a bit of back and forth to agree to throw some rocket leaves with tomatoes in a bowl and call it a salad. Special request they agree to add some mushrooms too. Unacceptable! Change your menu online too so we know what to expect and can make informed decisions whether to dine at your restaurant or not. Probably won't be back again in a hurry.

  • I went here for a friends birthday on Saturday night, my partner and I were extremely disappointed with a number of elements of the dining experience. First and foremost was the language barrier with all of the staff that we encountered. We have had people understand us better in Italy than they did at this establishment, which is terrible considering that we were just trying to go out for a meal in an English speaking country. We had to wait for a table to become available because the girl got the booking wrong and had the table booked for Thursday night instead of Saturday (language barrier) then when we finally went in everyone ordered drinks except for my partner who hadn't decided yet, I told the waitress that he would just order his at the bar when he was ready. After a long time I called her over and nicely asked if mine would be out soon, she snapped at me and told me that I had cancelled my order as I said that I was going to order at the bar, I told her no sorry that was meant about my partner, she did not apologize and was quite rude about it. I was then brought over a vodka apple juice in a tall glass, we were planning on going out for a few drinks afterwards so were going to have a a couple of drinks at dinner, I couldn't taste the vodka at all and didn't come anywhere close to even finishing the drink because it was basically a giant glass of apple juice. two of the friends that were meant to be coming cancelled at the last minute, we then told that to the gentleman (I think was the owner) he got cranky at us telling us that he would have put us on a smaller table if he had known and tried to get us to move tables. We had been sitting there for a while and had some drinks brought to us by this stage, so we said we didn't want to move- the table was already tiny as it was, we weren't sitting comfortably at all and felt crushed in together so the prospect of the five of us moving to an even smaller table was not a pleasant one.
