A large place, doesn't really announce itself from the street. Once inside its large rustic/industrial interior succeeds in achieving cosey. Menu is very tasty, service is friendly although we did wait a while for our order. I also ordered a spiced chai latte which came deconstructed, which personally I dont like. However I would have no issue coming here again.

One of the newer things to do in Melbourne is to go out for breakfast. My mother used to quake at the thought thinking that buying breakfast was one of the great wastes of money known to mankind. However what is better than having a well cooked meal that does not involve alcohol and gets you ready for the day. East Elevation is a largish place with friendly staff which has great breakfast items. My favourite is the croc monsieur. A once a month fat filled delicacy. All of the other dishes are great and the coffee the sort of standard that the people of Melbourne expect
