  • 一位朋友称Shree为“但尼丁最好的印度餐厅”。我并没有尝试过但尼丁的每家印度餐厅，但是上周末我们吃的饭跟我在任何地方吃过的印度菜一样好。没有“罐子里的咖喱”的味道。每道菜都是不同的，以美味而微妙的香料混合而成。

  • The food at Shree is good with the curries and naan bring particularly flavoursome. Service is a bit slow but the staff are friendly so best to be a bit patient. Special deals on Sundays and Wednesdays seem to be very good value. We took our own wine but similar wines on the wind list are only a couple of dollars more so no need to BYO. Decore is simple but a good choice for decent Indian food.

  • We are fortunate enough to live within walking distance of Shree so we have eaten there numerous times. The food is consistently excellent. I typically get butter chicken and it is my favorite in Dunedin. My husband has eaten 5 or 6 dishes and reports they are always delicious...and that the 'hot' really is hot (not the easiest thing to find in New Zealand). 'Curry and a lager' nights are great. You get a beer or wine plus a curry plus naan for $20. Overall the beer and wine prices are quite reasonable. And you can bring your own wine for (I think) a $2.50 per person corkage fee. The curry prices are typical for Dunedin and he does specials a couple of nights a week. Definitely try the chocolate naan for dessert. It is shockingly good. No idea why every Indian restaurant does not serve it as it is amazing!
