  • it is a pre-war building and has both a cafe and also a back packers motel. nothing much about this place. You will better hotels along this stretch of road of the same price.

  • On the 5th of September, circa 5 p.m. I visited the Stardust Gust-House (where I have often dined & slept without trouble ) and, I had a very small discussion/debate/argument, with the Junior Guest-House Staff there, about prices. Suddenly, the Manager himself came over to my table, having overheard the argument. He used very insulting rude language on me, totally out of proportion with the issue at hand. I said "I had better leave then" , with a touch of rougher language myself. Unfortunately, my response, brought out something fairly nasty, psychopathic in the Stardust Guest-House Manager. He picked up a LETHAL WEAPON, a thick two metre long metal rod, and smashed it on my table, as if I was a rabid dog NOT a Tourist/human-being. "I am leaving" I repeated, "but you are out of order smashing an iron bar at me ! ". So, the Manager smashed the iron-bar AGAIN into the wall above my head ! I really was putting my laptop into my bag as fast as I could, but the Manager distinctly had blood lust in his eyes... This is the first attack by Lethal-Weapon directed at me, since I was stabbed by Muggers in 2006 for not handing my wallet over... OMG I did nothing to deserve threats of Violence with a Lethal Weapon !!! (unless you are a Mugger- unhappy, without profits..) The Manager also yelled some threats as he smashed the metal rod at me, about 5 times he smashed it at me, as I was exiting. The Manager, was in simply Criminal Behavior (Criminal Assault) but, being solo, I had no Witnesses of my own to go to the Police with. So I will warn all Travelers.. The Smiles at Stardust Guest-House, are Profit-Smiles, NOT People-Smiles; the Manager does not respect Human-Beings apparently (only profits $$$) and he will pull out a Lethal Weapon to threaten customers with, if he wants to, (Outside the Law/Criminal.) In short, if you are not supplying maximum profits to the Stardust Guest-House, the Manager, might take to you with a metal rod, a LETHAL WEAPON; my Experience, tried & true.

  • The staff was super friendly. Its in a great location . the rooms are ok, nothing fancy. However we had a mouse in our room and had to wake up at 6 every morning as it is right next to the mosque
