  • Well, reading the other reviews I'd say the cat is out of the bag! I had a pretty good dinner here. I knew I was getting beat up on the price before I sat down! Interesting enough. Many dishes I'd never seen before. I tried several. Nothing wrong with it. I believe the biggest problem here is that there was no real anchor to it. No carving station. No big signature seafood offering. You just muddle through. It doesn't add up. This is genuinely expensive! I doubt the hotel cares to improve it as it was crowded just the way it is. Big PRC showing. Selfies on top of selfies mixed with food pix. They don't even know where they've gone until they look at the pictures! The biggest disappointment was an attempt at chicken mushroom pie. Ironically the most western dish served and it was tragic. The service staff is beyond reproach. Waited on hand and foot. Good presentation as well. If you've ever had the revolving buffet at the observation tower in KL then you know what the experience is like. I thought the 360 buffet in KL was quite a bit better. I went to the daytime buffet in KL which I think is more like this one than the evening one, which supposedly is more western themed. Overall it's a fine experience BUT at 88 myr it's just not prudent. I'm somewhat embarrassed I sat for it. Trust me when I say once is quite enough.
