  • 在休斯顿当地，人们有着一种默契，那就是吃生蚝一定要到Danton''s去。从墨西哥湾捕捞来的野生生蚝，在这里被赋予了丰富多样的吃法。第一种是生蚝、黄油、蒜蓉加欧芹慢慢焗烤；第二种是把蚝肉取出，裹上面粉和香料油炸，佐以塔塔酱沾着吃；第三种是“开盖即食”，带壳的生蚝汁水充溢，鲜味十足，入口时轻轻一吸，入口后不要急于咽下，微微咀嚼几下，才能吃出其中的鲜美。除了生蚝，这里的三文鱼沙拉、鲶鱼酱馅饼、通心粉细面也都值得细细品尝。

  • Enjoyed my last meal for my trip to Houston at Danton's. I was sad to find out this was the only Danton's in existence. Definitely a reason to go back, and was in walking distance from Hotel ZaZa where I stayed. It made for a great stroll through the museum district and a perfect dinner sunset walking back to my home away from home.

  • Visited Danton's for their Sunday brunch on Father's Day. The best seafood gumbo was mostly delicious but disappointed the shrimp in the gumbo were tasteless and farm raised....but loved the dark rich perfection of the roux and the generous helping of rice on the side. Fried shrimp were definitely fresh from the gulf, and cooked to perfection, served with the most incredible tartar sauce. Two of us had fried oysters which were tasty, if not small, but several were actually tough and chewy. Disappointing. The stuffed flounder was incredible. They have the best sides in the okra and tomatoes just like momma used to make and wonderful dirty rice and sweet potatoes. Great jazz singer performing during the brunch was icing on the cake.

  • We found this restaurant to be very quaint and beautiful. The food was excellent. We ordered the oysters on the half she'll and these were extraordinarily yummy. We inhaled them in a flash. Our entrees were the po boy's combo with the soup. The sandwiches were stacked with oysters and shrimp and were very delicious. The soups; corn & crab and the poblano crab were very flavorful with plenty of crab meat. The service was very friendly, prompt and attentive. I shall return for more great seafood.
