I had an ice coffee, and a sundae. Both were really good and affordable. And on a scorching hot day it really hit the spot. The view is great. I loved sitting there with my tablet, free Wi-Fi, and caught up on all my correspondence. Really enjoyed my visit. ^_^

The quality of the ice cream and milkshakes were average but they were priced reasonably. The restaurant is set in an easily accessible location near the town centre and is overlooking the the Mekong river. I went at night but I would imagine it to be pretty charming in the day. The owner is a Taiwanese lady who is very friendly and fun to interact with.

So sad to have only discovered this place on our last day in Kampong Cham and intact Cambodia... We were staying just down the road at the mekong crossing and noticed a weathered sign saying "Free yoga" at Srey Chen! We stopped in that evening and had a lovely chat with the owner, who is such a lovely lady! The lady taking the class was running late, but it was no bother at all as Srey Chen has such a wonderful atmosphere! We did the class, which lasted about an hour, we were joined by three little'uns under the ages of 6 or 7 giggling and joining in the poses. Its by no means a serious yoga studio, but rather a place which feels like a community, which i would have loved the oppitunity to return to again and again.. We weren't charged for the class and I'm eternally grateful to have had this magical little experience, leaps and bounds from over priced, snobby yoga studios.. This is what the sense of the yoga community is all about.

We walked by in the afternoon and decided to go back after dinner (elsewhere) for an ice cream. We were kind of disappointed that the only ice cream available was sundae style - soft ice cream out of a machine and flavoured with different syrups and peanut bits. The sundaes were served in small flimsy plastic glasses. They were small servings and didn't represent good value at $1.50 each.
