I went there with my girlfriend after dinner for a short drink at about 7pm. We sat at the bar and greeted well by the bartender. We got a 1664 Blanc, which I think was abit pricey at RM30/glass, but was worth the taste and music. Other draught beers like Asahi, Carlsberg and Tiger are also available. No Guinness draught unfortunately but you can get it readily in other bars and bistro in the neighbouring area which is quite common. Not a problem at all for Stout lovers! They have a good 5-piece indonesian acoustic (double-bass) band, performing mostly oldies tunes, sangs great acapella. If you're a music person, you'll drop by. Food was great. I recommend trying the Calamari to accompany your beer.

Great atmosphere created by live music from an enthusiastic band playing jazz with a fusion of musical styles. Food is also fusion with Western, Oriental and local influences. The food is well prepared and presented at reasonable prices. Sample prices large Tiger beer RM 25, cream of seafood boulabaselle RM12, seafood Cantonese kuch teow RM16.

Staff managed to look pretty annoyed at our presence at 6pm, barely a smile until another member of staff collected our plates. They also hovered over-attentively around our table, as if eager for us to leave. Maybe a couple in their early thirties are not the clientele they're looking for. Food was nothing more than acceptable and would not recommend going here. Far better places to go in Kuching

We had been to 21bistro on our last trip to Kuching and loved it, well we were not let down this time either. From Bet, Maggie, Amanda and Lynn we were treated like old friends. The food is good, the drinks not expensive, but what makes the place is the music and the owners, who are on deck to welcome all. Arrafin is a wonderful host. Do yourselves a favour and drop in and chill out.
