  • We wanted german food and found this place. It maybe in tourist area but it was quite good. We both had schnitzel mines had ham and cheese on it. My wife's was cooked perfectly mine was overdone a wee bit because i believe once the meat was cooked they then melted the ham and cheese over it probably overcooking the meat. The Restaurant had quite a nice atmosphere, some good beers and pricing was very reasonable.

  • We dropped in for a quick lunch. The food was very tasty, hot, and prepared fresh. Hard to go wrong here. They serve good Bier as well. Bock bier was very interesting...we liked it. Very good service and friendly staff!

  • I'm not sure how I ended up here but as a non-German vegetarian I can safely say that I the meaty Bavarian dishes are as indigestible as the meaty German oom-pah-pah music. You'll have to work hard to find something without meat (try the Spaetzle - Germany's attempt at gnocchi - with Sauerkraut and juniper if you must). The atmosphere isn't quite as authentic as the food so bring your own :-)

  • My wife and I became regular visitors to Bratwurst Glöckle; good service, good wholesome food and a pleasant atmosphere. I have previously given Glöckle favourable reviews. However, on recent occasions in the last few months we were becoming less and less satisfied or contented with our visits. We were noticing he beginnings of change which culminated in our most recent visit being our last visit. The manageress and waiting staff have continuously been polite and friendly. Never have we been disappointed with the standard of service. Where occasionally it was difficult to find a table it is now rarely anywhere near full and the type of clientele has changed. The quality of the meals has altered alarmingly. My wife ordered Entenbrust and I ordered Hirschbraten. The barely warm food was served on cold plates - inedible. We had to send our meals back o the kitchen twicce before the food was hot enough to eat but because the food was again served on cold plates the meals were, again, rapidly unenjoyable. We only ate the meats and sauce. The dumplings and red cabbage were a disaster. We again complained to the waitress who asked if she could offer us a coffee and added the information "It has been like this all day" We reffused her offer and asked for the bill. This was brought by a waiter whose only comment was "Tutto Completti" We were charged the complete price of our order and I payed the complete price but did not add a tip.
