  • 你好，服务不太好。一旦你吸引了服务员的注意，他们就会很好，会给你想要的东西，但是他们没有给我们足够的盘子或餐具。食物和酒需要很长时间才能出来，我们必须在点餐后要求。我们到达时桌子也没有准备好，我们等了大约15分钟才坐下。工作人员太忙了，我为他们感到难过。

  • This is one of many reviews I'll make on my experience here. I ordered the risotto and I asked for some parmesan. I was told there would be a $2 charge for parmesan on the risotto? In the many countries and restaurants I've visited this is the first time I've been asked to pay for parmesan. What next... extra for pepper, sugar in tea, ketchup? The staff seemed embarrassed to ask for it but I spoke to the chef who seemed annoyed that people may even need pepper because food left the kitchen perfect? Now Gordon Ramsay doesn't mind paying customers asking for pepper or Parmesan... In fact in most restaurants they actually offer it rather than you having to ask but this is a pub with grandiose ideas and obviously a chef who thinks he is way better than he is. It was a shame because the risotto was quite nice but at a real restaurant Lucio's just around the corner you can have as much parmesan, bread, butter and pepper as you want and their the food is amazing and the customer is always right!

  • Certainly an attractive, cleverly designed environment, but service could be more magnanimous and the prices I feel are well beyond what is essentially a 'pub', where you have your cutlery etc in a 'pot'. That said, my $39 trout was engaging but overpriced.

  • Another in the Merivale formula. Great renovation of the pub, a classy makeover. Liked the retention of the bar at the rear. Food is pub style rotisserie and we shared lamb, chicken and beef. All were good. I would forget the appetisers which were expensive and minuscule. It was especially hard to find the kingfish on the plate. Sharing mains makes for an economical meal. Service was effective, all looked like backpackers. No warmth in the service, they were just there to do a job. Like other Justin Hemmes places, noise is part of the scene and the tiles do not help acoustics. We would go back but probably for lunch to miss the chatterati.
