I have eaten here many times. It is a beautiful setting with Bellbirds singing in the garden area. Food is all made freshly in the kitchen and their Green Drink for detoxing is delicious.

Just beautiful food, fresh and delicious, always friendly service and their 'energizer' bars are the best! Will be back again and again and also to the same cafe at Katoomba - The Yellow Deli, thanks!

We visited for lunch and were a little surprised that it was so busy. The cafe is outside Picton so it is a place you have to drive to, not a place you happen on in the high street. So clearly quite popular. Our lunch was pretty average, rather bland and under seasoned rolls served with potato chips. The interior of the rather lovely heritage inn is dark and old fashioned with a higgledy piggledy mix of dated furniture. Somehow both of us found the overall atmosphere of the cafe just a little odd and uncomfortable. Our waitress seemed really subdued and unhappy. I am glad we visited as I had driven past so many times and was curious to try the cafe and see what they had done with this beautiful building. However, I don't think I will be back as both the food and the atmosphere were both a little dull.

A birthday Sunday lunch was a special treat at Common Ground. Our party of six enjoyed a variety of dishes and drinks. The food is different, tasty and not expensive. Service was quite good although understated, perhaps in keeping with the nature of the group which runs the cafe. The setting is lovely. A wonderful experience, definitely worth at least one visit.
