Thanks Moonzie and the neighbour upstairs for your prompt response.  You are petty right that foreigners usually have a different mentality as Chinese in travelling.  For Chinese they are inclined to go to as many spots of interest as possible, yet for foreigners relaxation is the goal.  Anyway as for us, we are not so interested in the snow mountain as we have seen a lot.  Nor are we interested in taking pictures in costumes.  We prefer somewhere more natural and original.  That is why we would like to explore the areas around on bike and on foot. I guess what we shall do is just to explore mindlessly, and see where we would end up.

老外思维有时和我们不一样，如果对有些中国地方人文并不十分在意的人也许不会在中国旅游时有什么刻意的要求。通常在他看来新奇有趣的地方就是最好的地方。到处是游人或洋人的地方他们也不见得感兴趣。在古城到处走走，看看居民建筑或进普通小店吃顿饭或do nothing也许是最合适你们的
