  • Nice, various and typical montaditos. Very kind staff. Really cheap compared to the quality of the food. Definitely recommend!

  • For the best montaditos (tiny sandwiches) this is the place to go. They are filled with flavour and there are various interesting combinations to choose from. The waiter is a blast, very friendly fun and loud. It's good to try and go early (19:30 - 20:00) to get a table on the terrace. The restaurant is very popular with the locals and fills up quickly. Had the best night here

  • I was living 6 months in Valencia and we went to Tanto Monta at least once a week because its sooo delicious. The idea is to bring the tapas on toasted bread in quite a fancy way. You just go to the bar look what they offer and grab as much of the pinchos as you want (I recomand 4 to be full for ladies) They have a high diversity and each pincho is just 1,70. But better not to come late if you wanna have a table outside - it's ALWAYS full and if you come after 8:30 you have to wait on the waiting list (sometimes up to 1 hour but still worth it ;) ) Next to the best pinchos ever they serve really nice cakes for postre (my favorite one was the donut cake) Best part of tanto monta is the stuff tho - everytime really friendly, understandable and just nice guys. The waiter who is responsible for the outside area is really doing is daily workout with just running from table to table to the inside and outside - you can really tell that he loves his job. moreover he knows every of his custumors and is saying hi to everyone passing the restauraunt even when he's in a hurry. If you ever visit Valencia you just can't miss that place!

  • When choosing this restaurant we wanted somewhere close to our hotel that had good reviews and Tanto Monta did not disappoint. The staff were very friendly and most of them spoke English. Out waiter initially helped us choose a wine which would be to our taste and then took the time to go threw the range of different tapas available to us. We ate until we could eat no more and were very plesantly surprised when the bill came. We luckily had decided to go early as they were queing to get in by the time we left.
