  • Don't go to Venice California without stopping for the most incredible Mexican food and margaritas. Awesome for people watching too but I can't rave enough about the food here. It is honest, hearty, fresh and delicious. If I could I'd move to Venice just to have this place as a regular feeding hole. So so good.

  • I was in LA on business and was able to catch up with some friends. They asked what I wanted to eat and I always try to find some good fish tacos in SoCal. A few of their friends recommended Oscar's to them so we tried it out. I got fish tacos and we had Mac n Cheese as an app. Everything was VERY GOOD and I highly recommend this place. Looks like it is under the radar with only 25 reviews in May 2016. I will be back again someday! PS - They have a big wine menu and some local beers on tap.

  • A friend who doesn't get Mexican food very often was dying to find queso...we found this place after seeing queso on the menu, but when we got there, we were told we could not eat any until after 4 pm bc we had to wait on a new kitchen staff. However, the hangover soup served in a cast-iron skillet was outstanding, as was the Greek salad

  • stumbled on this place as it was close to our apt in Venice. i'm so glad we went here ... I've tried several places in the Santa Monica area this week and this tops the lot. a realy inventive menu, superb music, ambiance, and great staff decent prices, and they allowed the kids to eat with us (many in Venice have said no to kids eating for some strange reason) anyway, take the fish taco's and the 5-spice pulled pork - you won't be disappointed we'll be back this week for sure !!
