他们家是那种平地而起的院落风，建筑也是使用的榫卯结构！一走进店里，有那么一瞬间还以为我穿越到了古代客栈！古色古香的🍃氛围感真的很足！进门就看到了一艘渔船停在湖里，听说渔船还是有寓意的（好运招财那种～
.
他们家的鱼火锅好吃我要说N遍！坠爱的的就是椒麻锅了，面上满满一层花椒，看起来真的好巴适！这儿的鱼🐟都是现点现sha的，肉质新鲜细嫩，吃起来麻麻辣辣的口感，越吃越过瘾！

We've been meaning to visit here since moving into the area some months ago. We decided to last week, and wish we hadn't bothered. Firstly, the signs for the place dried up, and we ended up driving miles along Mamre Road, turning around, and eventually coming back to where we first came on to the road, and saw the sign for the house, almost bent onto the ground. We drove up to the house, and parked. I must say the house looked very interesting, and we were hoping it would be interesting inside. We walked up to the front door, which had a sign telling us to go around the back, but all was locked up, and there was nobody in sight. Across from the house was an old shed, where a few women were seated outside. It was obvious that we wanted to see the house, but nobody offered any help. A lady walked past us and opened unlocked the front door, but again, never said a word.. Sorry, but if you want visitors I suggest you welcome them. We had intended to have lunch here too, but didn't like the look of the shed it was in! 'So we jumped in the car, and drove to Lewers House for lunch instead, and had the best minestrone soup ever!. Don't bother with this place, they're obviously not bothered.

Ok we went there on an open day with a friend, so very hot & very busy. Could only get scones & tea. Staff lovely but tired.

We often drop in for morning tea or lunch,wonderful service and food. Lovely to sit on the verandah and take in the views of the gardens with a brew and awesome scones.

As a first time visitor, I was surprised to see there was no signage as to what to see and where to go. After wandering around the grounds for a while and not seeing anything very interesting, we sat on the verandah of the homestead and ordered lunch. It was a lovely sunny day and a great spot to sit, but I think 2 hours was a little long considering we only ordered fish & chips. The meal when it finally arrived (over an hour) was "ok" we then decided it might be nice to finish with a serve of scones which we ordered (twice). After another 40 mins it failed to materialise so I went in to pay the bill at which time I was told they ran out of scones!, could they not have told me that 40 mins ago so we wouldn't have been left sitting there. We asked if we could look upstairs in the homestead which we did and it was quite interesting, and it showed quite a lot of family and homestead history, but there is no signage or information to tell you that's possible and that's the best part of Mamre house. All in all, a lovely setting and great if you have kids as the play area is good. But bring a picnic cause the service is woeful...
