We are regular customer at Seven Hills Istanbul. We love this place! Very nice, cosy atmosphere which has a Mediterranean feel about it. Food is very well presented. The restaurant is family-run which gives it a warm feeling. The chef (owner of restaurant) is quite friendly and makes time to chat with customers and can even customise orders to your liking. The menu has a good variety of Turkish home-style dishes. It can be somewhat expensive especially in Ramadhan (Ramadhan set menu was very average in terms of food quality but was way more expensive than other restaurants in town). I have the following suggestions for improvement: 1. Need to run for longer hours especially on weekends (too early to close the kitchen at 9.30 pm on weekends). You need to compete with the market in Melbourne. 2. If you wish to have a set menu in Ramadhan, with prices higher than average, then the food quality needs to be at the same standard of your quality throughout the year. Otherwise, why would customers pay more when they can get the same average items elsewhere? Please improve your Ramadhan menu and quality of food served. 3. More professional service (some training on hospitality etc) is required for other staff serving customers. 4. Adding some Turkish features would be good since this is mainly a Turkish restaurant.
