We returned to dine at Coconut Palms in Smith St last night having discovered it a couple of months ago. We were greeted with warmth by Ryan, the Front of House host. We were really looking forward to dining here again as the first experience was wonderful. We were not disappointed. The food is excellent, fresh, beautiful to look at and full of flavour. The staff are perfect. Friendly, warm, attentive. Ryan even remembered us from our first visit, pointing to the table we sat at and mentioning we were from Geelong. That's good. Very good. We will be back, again and again.

We have just been back to Coconut Palms after a year. I'd forgotten how much I like this place. It's a completely unpretentious, casual, BYO restaurant that serves generous portions of very reasonably priced tasty food quickly and with a smile. Nice people. I don't eat meat and there's plenty of choice of veggie dishes, their silken tofu is perfectly cooked and is melt in your mouth heaven. It's usually packed, but the turnover is quite fast, so you won't have to wait long for a table.
