Prices cost double what the online menu says. Very slow, lady at the counter was rude and very short. Eggshells in the breakfast burrito and flavor was bland. We'll never be back.

Went here because of the reviews . I was a little iffy from the way the place looked outside It is old and run down But.... The food is is awesome Big portions San Diego style Mexican food

The title says it all. The food is tasty, quickly prepared, and cheap. We have visited Tono's on a few occasions. We have tried a few different menu items and have been happy with them all. Our favorites are the carnitas tacos. We usually get 2 per person and that is sufficient as the 2 tacos take up a whole plate. There is no fine china or metal silverware in sight, but if you are more interested in a tasty meal than what it is served on give this place a try.
