The inn serves really good, tasty food with some unusual dishes and a very good, varied menu. There is a good range of food ranging from simple beef-burgers to scallops with many other dishes in between.

food average, expected a little bit better but all was ok, i wouldn't return in a hurry, the waiting area is a bit scruffy, staff was nice so nice helped.

We visited on 19th June for Father's Day. Booking was easy and there was still space after booking quite late as I know this pub is always busy. We had a great table out the way as we had baby with us so plenty of room. This was requested at time of booking so very happy to see it was done. Food and service was brilliant. Quick service but did not feel rushed. Waitress advised me of alternatives without me having to ask which was nice. We were offered the chance to fill out the Father's Day competition. Food was of a high standard and menu has a good range of choice as well as specials. Would recommend Tree Tops and will be visiting again (a strong favourite of ours) Oh just to note the visit before this one I had to leave the table to look after my baby which of course was when the food came. The waitress kindly offered to take my food and keep it warm for me. Keep up the great service and food tree tops it's great to know it will always be a great visit when we come.

I have visited tree tops a few times now on different occasions. Although the staff seem quite polite and friendly the food is very medocre and it would be nice to see some light, fresh and healthier dishes on the menu. There are plenty of heavy dishes including lots of fried salty steaks, grills, burgers and chips. However, there is a lack of interesting healthier and lighter dishes here. I have had the salmon fillet dish many times which includes buttered potatoes, beans and vegetables in a vibrant cream cheese, pea and mint dressing and this is really tasty. The sea bass and fish pie I am yet to try but other than it is quite difficult to find a main course on the menu. A few more vegetarian dishes would be nice to see on the menu too. Overall, an average experience.
