  • A great restaurant for group since it is a teppanyaki style restaurant. The Chefs are local and very nice. The food is great!

  • Had dinner at this teppanyaki restaurant tonight with my family. We made a reservation, but were surprised to find the restaurant empty at 7:30. The staff greeted us and immediately showed us to our table. We ordered two 220 gm sirloin steaks and one chicken. The total bill was about $115. Ramon cooked everything perfectly including the garlic rice and was very friendly. After we paid the bill the woman manager had one of the staff drive us back to our hotel. The view at Sails BBQ the previous night was great, but the food and service at Shogun was a million times better. I strongly recommend coming here. It is only about 5 minutes away from the center of town and well worth the trip. I know they had some bad reviews in the past, but my family was very satisfied and will come here again the next time we are in Guam.

  • Forgave my stateside cousin for treating me to dinner there. Apparently our other stateside cousin recommended this restaurant to him, laña chelu! First, they separated our party of 15, (strike 1), then their selection of imported beer was limited (strike 2), and the place lacked ventilation, they kept the front doors open (strike 3). Suffice it to say, nothing beats checking out the Locals if you want to know the best triple D places. This is not the only Teppan Yaki joint on the Island.

  • Had dinner here. It was average at best. The staff and cook were nice enough. The food was okay. My main rub was that the food was very expensive. There are other places in Tumon with better food for half the price. Also, what kind of Japanese restaurant doesn't serve Japanese beer!?!?
