I have to be honest we bought these cakes at Costco as you buy two and get one free. At the store the price was $8.00 each. We got 3 for $16.00 at Costco. Why not just offer that price directly to the customer. The girl working behind the counter was very nice. Actually this is not a restaurant. They sell specialty food itmes.

We took a tour which stopped at Kona Gold. We are not coffee drinkers but I love cake. You are given an opportunity to sample both the coffee and cake. Wow what a delicious treat. I brought the 3 pack sample and took the business card. I have given the small cakes to friends and they were blown away. I have been home now for 1 month and still ordering the cakes directly from Kona Gold for my family members and friends at their request. The cakes are moist with just the right amount of rum. The cakes arrive within three days by priority mail and the entire package is sealed. If I have a question or issue I write to the company and get a response within hours (depending on the time zone) from Justin. I highly recommend you try the cakes and coffee. You might now want to give them away. Mahalo!!

We discovered Kona Gold Rum a few years ago and their rum cakes are incredible. It is one of our first stops when we are in town. This trip we made our purchase and had several cakes shipped home. The make three varieties that all include mac. nuts... pineapple, kona coffee, and just plain. If you get a chance I would suggest you stop buy and get a sample... you will be hooked. We have several friends that always want rum cake sent back when we go to the Big Island.

NOT your usual rum flavor but good just the same. The aroma is complex and the color is inviting. If you can find it try it.
