  • I know Miami is not known for having great Mexican food but after visiting a few spots in Homestead and also eating Mexican in Cali, this place brings the flavor. A little hole in the wall place with very limited parking on the weekdays but well worth the visit. You will leave the place full but still wanting more. Make sure to try the queso fundido as appetizer and their taco bowl for entree. The crust is done perfectly with just the right amount of crunch. I'm so fortunate to live near this place because it has become one of my favorite spots. For travelers make sure to come here for lunch and then head to the Coral Gables for some sightseeing since its a very close uber ride away. Then once in the Gables feel free to pick up gelato from VIX. Thank me later.
