  • This place is great!! So central to downtown government center and the Miami Dade Main Library! Besides the awesome Cuban items, great soups and awesome sandwiches- it is the staff that keep me coming back. From visitors to regulars, the make everyone feel at home. If you work in the area or are just visiting and want some fabulous Cuban food, don't miss this place!!

  • We shared the "Cubanito", an appetizer platter, and it was fantastic. Before this place, I didn't get what all the fuss was about with cuban toast but after the Cacique, I understand! It was the best part of a very good meal. The food was VERY fresh, the meat tender, the orange juice fabulous. Great prices. Friendly service, simple, old fashioned, at-home atmosphere. I definitely recommend it.
