The restaurant is very pleasant and the tables are not to close so that private discussions are possible. The service is great and very customer minded! Compliments! The food is innovative and good. The only problem is that we had to wait a long time between the servings; here an improvement is needed.

This restaurant offers great value for money. Fantastic ten course, smal portions, dinner with accompanying wine for quite reasonable price. Certainly for, since many years, a well merited one star in the Michelin guide. Starter was beautiful foie gras dih. And then we were being served the best of fish plates. Amongst these langoustine, lobster, turbot and omble chevalier. In between a dish of softly baked egg with truffle and aubergine sauce. Very tasty. Last dish before three desserts was a very well prepared ris de veau. The desserts were incredibly good. Not only of fresh and great taste, but also besutifully presented. We have never experienced such good desserts before. Waiting on the table was impeccable. Friendly and efficient staff. A warm setting in a calm Alsace village.

We stayed a long weekend in the Alsace and choose again for this excellent auberge. Took the 3 day demi pension this time and were never disappointed. Service is excellent. Winelist is excellent, food is excellent, breakfast is excellent. Rooms are basic but comfortable, but most important you feel that you are an appreciated guest and they do their utmost to make you as comfortable as possible. This is our address in the Alsace and because of its location daytrips to the Vosges are a piece of cake.

We chose creative Tuesday, its up to the chef what they are going to create on that day. The location feels like it is in the heart of alsace. Ample parking too and there is a hotel in case you wanted to stay. The food was devine, my favourite meal in Alsace that I still remember today. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I was pregnant at the time and they made sure my needs were catered for without me asking. If you are visiting the beautiful region of Alsace then I cannot recommend eating here enough it is top on my list for food, service, style.
