The first time we ate here we was greeted by the happiest, welcoming man...we've returned three times in the last three days. The food you get for your money here is amazing!!! The portions are the best I've seen so far ( I'm always hungry ) and the price for the quality of food aswell!! I've had a few different dishes here but I really recommend the seafood Kao Soy! It's 50/60Baht depending on size and worth every penny!! Others are going for 80baht and is nowhere near as good as these! And you can drink your own beer as you eat. Budget backpackers head to Barnnakarn Kitchen!

Nice portions, nice food and a fair price. There's an awesome funny sign on the wall which, summarizing, says something like this: "We are professional Thai food". And yes, they really are.

Barnnakarn Kitchen is situated near the small food market Talat Som Pet, at the eastern edge of the old town. The place seems to be run by two men, one of which is the chef and he cooks really well. The service guy is very friendly and speaks a little English. They offer the common selection of Thai dishes. The food is extremely delicious, everything can also be ordered as a vegetarian option (vegetarian = "Jee" in Thai). The prices were "non-touristy", means very inexpensive. Average price is 40 baht for a meet-free dish. The kitchen is traditionally located on the street. Tables are located inside and outside.
