Comfortable family venue, food is well priced and food is great. Great place to take the kids and staff are very friendly.

Food and service is good. Not the top-notch gastronomy, but a cheerful atmosphere. Friendly and prompt service. The price seemed fair for all of the above. We had a good experience

We had dinner for 4 at La Porchetta restaurant in North Carlton and had nice surprises. The food was good, the portions were very generous. The entre portion for seafood marinara was more than the main equivalent in Singapore and so much cheaper! We had 2 entre pastas, one pizza with ample fillings, a cannelloni and a roasted pumpkin salad, plus a glass of wine. Total bill was only @ AUD81 only. Really, the best time to visit Australia is now as AUD is only slightly more than SGD. The goods & services tax is already included in the final price. And there is no service charge. La Porchetta is well-known in Aust and NZ.

Why would you go there if you want pizza, and if you're after pasta, go to a Smorgie's That's all I can say about La Porchetta. On the upside if you have a van full of kids and you want a down market place to take them, bingo. I'm not bagging them for anything other than poor value, service and quality. Quite a trifecta to get wrong
