  • I had one night in Sydney while traveling between Auckland and Cairns and I was craving some Indian. I looked for somewhere online that offered takeaway, was open late and was in walking distance from my hotel and Muglan came up. I had a Rogan Josh and a Cheese Naan. The food was good, not the best Indian I have had but better than most; the cheese Naan was great. My only tip to the chefs would be to make the Rogan Josh a bit hotter, I didn't notice any spice on the dish at all. Overall, a good easy curry that I would have again.

  • The food here is pretty good and varied. I would suggest opting for the Nepalese over the Indian although both are good, the Nepalese food is something different. They also have a good drinks menu ranging from traditional Nepalese to alcoholic cocktails. The majority of customers appeared to be of South Asian decent which is a positive sign of its authenticity. Customer service was okay, friendly staff but need to improve on their communication skills. There was a bit of miscommunication with booking and food orders. Ambient atmosphere, good for couples and small groups. Will come here again!

  • The Muglan has excellent food and it comes quickly, served by staff who are very helpful and attentive, without overdoing it The goat's meat curry plus the butter chicken are two of the highly recommended meals available There is a version of "tai cha" tea that is wonderful on a cold winter's evening. The place gets packed with people from the southern continent of Asia and this is always a good recommendation. However, you can often get straight in whilst the fast food takeaway places have queues and this food is so much better
