  • Nice little place know by locals. 4 of us sat outside watching the world go by and chatting.... The waitresses were a bit run off their feet (and the place was only 1/2 full) however, they did serve you with a smile, genuine politeness and came with table water when taking our order. The menu was cool as it had some quirky dishes on it and every dish for our group was done perfectly, with loads of flavour and good presentation (see my pics). The food was excellent! Each dish was full of flavour in it's own right. We dined on : The Big Breakfast, a Breakfast Quesadilla, Mediterranean Breakfast & a fruit salad with yoghurt. The eggs on our dishes were both perfectly cooked, the mushrooms tasty & well salted, the avocado ripe and spreadable, the sourdough toast crispy and not underdone.... etc Best of all nothing was oily = as some places can overdo the oil in a breakfast meal. They were a bit slow on the coffee though, but they tasted good when they came. *NB* Give the Banana 'smoothie' a miss for a few reasons: a) It was not in any way a smoothie (and when given to me named "Banana Milkshake" b) it was quite bland and c) had far too much yoghurt in it *I think as it had some kind of tartness to it I did not like..... nor did my fellow diners who also tried it to be honest :( I think this also happened to a fellow reviewer - with the "Mango Smoothie" hmmmm All in all a nice little café, which had many locals popping in and out, getting take away coffee's or dining out in the courtyard with their dogs under the tables, all while we dined out the front. We will be back (as a friend lives near there) and we often get together for brunches. I'm looking forward to having a 'Breakfast Quesadilla' all to myself, the very same one my friend ordered as it was Deeee-lish!!

  • Had a breakfast deal , place in quiet street local area, breakfast was full breakfast and very nice served on wooden boards, the food was lovely and very filling, the 2 waitresses were very attentive and helpful.The place was abit sad as in needs some TLC , has an outdoor area on both sides or lots of space inside nice for a local sat or sun breakfast.
