We stopped in for a coffee and to relax for a couple of hours. The guys here are lovely, a very relaxed atmosphere but great service, the coffee was awesome and the food was divine (we had a roasted cauliflower and chickpea salad and the curried lentil burger). Very tempted to walk back down for the breakfast menu tomorrow morning! Shame they had run out of plates and had to serve my burger on a chopping board though ;)

The North End Cafe ticks all box for me. Beautiful food, lovely staff ( very understanding of kids messiness and naughtiness :-) ) and a nice set up which makes you feel at home. Big thumbs up !!!

If your looking for breakfast somewhere a little out of the ordinary, then look no further. The menus are handmade, glued to the inside of Little Golden Books, we can all remember them, Saggy Baggy Elephant, Scrawny Tawny Lion etc. the chairs are all mismatched wooden items, the staff are so friendly and the food wholesome and well priced. My favourite is the baked eggs with chorizo and home made baked beans. The usual suspects like a huge big breakie, pancakes, eggs benny with salmon, it's all so good. The skate decks on the roof and the local art work on the walls all add to the chilled beach side feeling at this cafe. Not just a cafe for the locals although you can pick them out of the crowd. Such a great cafe it will be a pity if the word gets out cos we want it all for ourselves.
