  • Visited this place for family dinner with small children. Restaurant is kids friendly, you can choose somthing out of the menu for kids and they can do half portion. We ordered grilled snapper and calimary, everything was fresh and well cooked. It is wirth mentioning the service from owner of the restaurant, very nice person just to talk. Recommend this place for one of the dinners on Samui

  • Great food great we had Thai the crab cakes and Tom ka tally with pad Thai goon all excellent The staff are a mixture of the Dutch owners and locals and all are very good with very reasonable prices Going back tomorrow night

  • Although the place didn't look like one of those where locals would go, I decided to try it and I was pleasantly surprised. I found the food quite tasty, and the service (especially from the two guys who may be the owners) quite good and polite. The shakes were also really good. It's unfortunately facing the main street so it's not the quietest place on earth, but the noise was acceptable. I went again a few days later.

  • Was walking by and my mom stopped to check out the menu. I already had a bad feeling because the name wasn't very authentic. There were a few people in the place - all white older people (another red flag). No chili or sauce on the table either - just salt and pepper. Weird but hey lets give it a try! There were a handful of "specials" so we stuck two a couple of those: Pad Thai Gai and Green Curry. The Pad Thai was the worst Ive tried here in Thailand or even back in the USA. The portion size was smaller than normal and the noodles were mushy. I have NEVER had to salt a Thai dish before. Normally, they are so perfectly prepared. No wonder they had salt on the table. The Green Curry was spicy even though my mom ordered "mild" and said it twice. Some of the veggies inside were not fish as there was a bitter taste and when we took them out they looked discolored. Also, the curry was much runnier than it should have been. Have had this dish many times also. The prices were 100B (normally 120B I think) for the pad thai (you can get authentic pad thai down the street for 60baht) and its a thousand times better. Green curry was 120baht (normally 150baht I think). Anyways, very sub-par food but should have known it as it is a births run establishment and not Thai. Stick to fish and chips! Oh, and the hostess/waitress would was constantly touching her hair and face and then handling the food. Gross! Please also pick up your sandals when you walk around. Its annoying that you drag constantly. Disliked everything about this joint! Def would not recommend.

  • Stumbled on an exceptional little restaurant just across from the Royal Palm Beach Resort which I will rate next. Small and open for dinner only it is run by the owner, his wife and brother. The service, food and ambiance provide for a relaxing evening at a very reasonable price. No loud music or tvs to distract from some enjoyable conversation with friends while enjoying the local dishes as well as North American/European fare if so inclined. The owner went out of his way to ensure that everything was looked after and also gave us some useful information on the area. I recommend this place for couples, friends and families given that the children are well behaved so as not to spoil the experience for other dinners. As it was there were two families there with children and they were most enjoyably entertained, bravo to the parents.

  • Spent 2 nights here as so impressed with the service and very close to our hotel. Attentive staff and vast menu both Thai and European. Tempura prawns were huge and delicious-decorated with pretty cut vegetables. Nice touch. I enjoyed the Red curry, could have done with a few more chillies but very tasty. Lovely setting even though near main road - and very helpful staff.

  • Waited over 40minutes for what was just fish and steamed rice. The food was ok (not amazing) but ok. Though can't imagine what took so long. The owner walked around the restaurant during this time and a one point said (yours is coming in a minute), which was in fact about another 15minutes. No apology offered, so assume this is not unusual.
