Six of us went to Janus Westfield for a work lunch. The space is bright and clean and much more relaxed than the food hall below. The food was great - all our meals were well cooked and delicious and arrived fairly quickly. The staff was friendly and efficient. My only criticism is that the music was a bit loud and it was hard to hear my colleagues at the other end of the table.

My friend and I were looking for a place to eat on a Thursday night after shopping in the Westfield. Since Fifth floor were overcrowded, we went up one more floor to try our luck. Then we found this beautiful Italian restaurant in the corner of Sixth floor. We have had dinner in almost every single restaurants in Westfield Sydney, and both of us agrees Janus Cafe is one of the best choice. The layout of the restaurant is quite good and you will have plenty of space while dinning. The food there not only fresh and tasty, but also very generous in portion. I am not a big eater, but still need to eat 2 courses to feel full. Since we were having dinner quite late that night, I only ordered a lamb salad. The size of the salad was really big with very generous amount of slow cooked lamb and chunk pieces of halloumi cheese. I felt totally full after having that salad. The service in Janus Cafe is a bit slower than the restaurants in fifth floor. However, the food is much nicer and you will have your privacy while dinning. It's a good place to hang out with your friends, have a bit chat while enjoying the food.

One of the worst burgers I have had in a long time, wasn't busy and service was not great. $16 for a burger that was not very well cooked and lacked flavour. Chips were more like wedges and didn't have any flavour and a weird texture. Was asked if I wanted sauce, and when I got my bill I noticed it was added on to the cost of the burger. Only 50cents but if you are paying $16 for a burger I don't expect to pay for the sauce. Try burger project instead.

Gave this place a go a few times and since the last time vowed never to return. The service is outrageously poor. It took 10 minutes for them to notice us and take our order. Then we waited 20 minutes and someone else came asking to take our order. We said we had already ordered and they said they didn't have it so we had to order again!! Our food took 25 minutes to arrive after the se in time we ordered and our drinks still hadn't come. Took another 10 minutes to get the attention of a waiter to ask for our drinks. We received no apology at any time in the night. We spent the whole time starving and trying to get the waiters' attention. Really appalling, no matter how good the food is.
