  • One of my favorite places in NYC to go and enjoy amazing wine and delicious food. The arugula salad is my favorite. The owner Edit goes above and beyond to make you feel at home... Thank goodness places like Jadis still exist in NY. I highly recommend for a touch of local flavor. Enjoy!

  • Nice place; cool East Village location with a really good feel to it. Would rate the atmosphere at a 5. Excellent and fits in really well with the district. Charcuterie platters and salmon quiche were both awesome. Wine by the glass was ok, tried four but would really like to get into their attractive French dominated wine list.

  • On my second visit to Jadis, we had a large group of women and had planned a set menu with the restaurant. It turned out that a few women had extensive allergies that we didn't know about (and things that are really common in French cuisine, like eggs, dairy, and gluten), but the staff were so accommodating and quick to think up alternatives. I was highly impressed with how nimble they were, and how smoothly they treated the situation. Very classy. The food itself was all excellent--charcuterie, quiche, salad, creme brulee...we were in heaven!

  • We tried to come here a couple of years ago but eye wheren't able because of a private party. We come back this night and the Jadis confirm the expectation. Very good food, cool location and Edit is very kind and friendly. You must try if in NYC. Fausto Villani (Edit should remember me...)
