  • To be honest, some might describe this as a "dive" (that could be cleaner, and it has some broken tables near the entrance). The service was good and the food rather pedestrian.

  • We were staying at the hotel above Bernard's and were told the food was great. And it certainly was. I had the Mexican Omelette which came with a home made potato pancake and toast. My husband had the eggs with a corn beef hash brown. Service was very good except that they had run out of a few essentials like milk and orange juice. The waitress was very apologetic. There were lots of locals and I can see why. The breakfasts were big, tasty and cheap and came with coffee. My huge omelette was only $5.95. Well worth a visit.
