  • On my last night in Istanbul I chose the Adres restaurant because it was close to my hotel. The service was excellent and the menu had a fantastic choice of food and all of it very reasonably priced. I chose to have the doner meal which was just delicious. The meat was succulent and tender and covered in a beautiful gravy. The accompanying salad and rice/chips were very nice. My choice of drink was Ayran (yougurt, water & salt) and it was fantastic. The restaurant is in a side street but you have a good view of the main road where the trams go. The service was first class and the price, unbelieveable 21 Turkish Lira. about £6.50. I WILL go back to Istanbul and I WILL go back to the Adres restaurant, it was great.

  • Decided to eat here one evening. Service and food was good. Rather quiet little place, on street seating so can watch the world go by. Added service tip to bill. Seems there are restaurants that do this and others that don't. I don't like this being taken out of your hands and it isn't displayed anywhere that this will be applied to your bill
