The restaurant is elegant and aristocratic. But hey, i cam to eat....why does it take so long to prepare a Schnitzel? It is just Schnitzel. Once it arrives, it's good. The side dish - rushty - was half backed. Yet, i do recommend the restaurant for those looking for fine dining in Gottingen.

I'm amazed. We went out for dinner with our German business partners and they did chose the Restaurant because of the good reviews and yes, I agree. The Food was so well presented and so delicious. I can really recommend this restaurant. The Service was really good too and I loved the ambient.

This is a very lovely restaurant. It is very classic, high end/upper class styling but still comfortable for us common folk. lol The service is AWESOME. I could not read the menu because they didnt have one in English they found an older one written in English and got a server to help describe the menu items. They are also very attentive. The food was delicious as well. I had some kind of Schnitzel, it was beef and it came with a potatoes that were shredded and then cooked like hash browns but it was in the shape of a large pancake. They actually serve your food, meaning my server cut the pancake in half placed on the plate and then added the beef to the plate and reserved the rest until I was ready. When I was ready for the rest of the dish, she was right there ready to serve it. It was very good, the meat was tender and the potato melted in my mouth. The meal also included a salad but I didn't care for the dressing or some of the ingredients but I ate what I did like with no dressing. It was very fresh. The cost of the meal was pretty expensive.

Some of the food was quite good, but some of the fish was under-cooked on the bottom. The staff were very attentive, but aspects of service like serving the main meat dish in parts are not really of value. Would have preferred to just leave the food but ensure it was all cooked perfectly. So for the high prices, should reconsider where the effort is put.
