  • It is always disappointing when you go to a place with good reviews, and it doesn't live up to the expectations - at all! I came with two friends on a saturday morning. With two people in the kitchen and two in the restaurant in such a tiny cafe, you'd expect service to go fairly quick. To make a veeeery long story short, we waited for a whole hour to be served. And just to make sure we had an even worse experience, I didn't get what I had ordered. I ordered fried eggs and a plate of pancakes. Only got the eggs. So I basically waited for one hour for two fried eggs with a piece of bread. The most underwhelming meal I had in Berlin. My friend who ordered a breakfast plate with syrup, didn't get the syrup. When we finally got around to the check, the missing items was indeed there, so at some point the order was correctly taken, but poorly executed. There is a lot of nice little breakfast cafes in this area, so I will definitely chose another place the next time i visit Berlin.
