We were two. This was the closest restaurant to the Holiday inn after a long day in the car. We were not disappointed fresh tasty food at a value for money price. We started with mixed antipasti. This was cooked sweet pepper strips with mushroom and broccoli accompanied with mozzarella, parmigiana cheese and two types of salami and a bowl of fresh bread. For mains I went for pizza quartiani and my colleague a spaghetti. We enjoyed this and paid the 40€ with pleasure. The surprise was complimentary grappa and an espresso. High recommended.

I took a wrong turn, turning left out of Prenzlauer Allee S-bahn, instead of right towards the city centre. But I was lucky, because I was hungry and looking for a nice meal and, although the restaurant looked simple, it also looked inviting. I wan't disappointed. I had a warming bowl of aromatic tomato soup served with warm and moist sourdough bread. A nice salad with cheese followed. Although it was listed as small, the serving was large and filling. Finally I had a bowl of tagliatelli with courgettes, as the signature beetroot gnocchi were all sold out. It was very tasty. The coffee was excellent, too. Three courses with water and coffee came to less than 20 euros.

This place deserves a thumbs up for its yummylicious, superbly delicious & exquisitely prepared pasta. Luckily for us this place was just around the corner, next to our hotel Holiday Inn ( @ Prenzlaeur Allee ) and it certainly outdo our expectations. It is a small Italian restaurant with cozy atmosphere. One can enjoy his/her meal either inside in their courteous decor or outside enjoying the beautiful lanes of Berlin & pleasant weather ( in summers specially). Their wait staff if quite kind & courteous. They serve dishes with delicious bruschetta and soft- tasty german bread . Further their delicious pizzas & pastas are quite pocket friendly . They serve coffee as well and their coffee is a must try after the meal.We spent 22Euros for 2 different dishes along with drinks and two coffees after the meal. Must try for anyone in the vicinity. This restaurant is well connected by tram/ bus or train . Also, their beautiful atmosphere takes you away from the hustle & bustle of busy Berlin City. Another great thing about this place is that they are open till late i.e 2300hrs unlike other places in Europe.

Tired and wanting something close by, I found this place just around the corner. Having just visited Italy I tried out what little Italian I knew and was warmly greeted by Valeria the lovely and helpful waitress. I asked her to suggest a spaghetti and wine to match and she was spot on with her recommendation. She was friendly and attentive and the food and wine were delicious. Price was very good value and Valeria threw in a complimentary Amaretto. All up a great experience for a weary traveller. Highly recommend this place.
