We were in Spandau ,the main reason was to visit the wonderful BRAUHAUS SPANDAU ( a must go destination if your in Spandau.) when we came across this modern looking bar with a beer garden across the street. As it was a roasting hot day we opted to sit outside with a delicious Erdinger beer,this was brought over by a very pleasant member of staff. The beer was crisp,sparkling and totally refreshing and put us in fine spirit's for our trip to the brewpub. The interior is very nice,a good mix of modern and traditional furnishing's and decor and the meal's looked and smelt lovely,if we had'nt planned to have a meal in Brauhaus Spandau we most certainly would have tried a meal. This is a superb cafe,easy to find on the very pleasant looking street JUDENSTRAßE . We got to Spandau by jumping the Sbahn down from Alexanderplatz ,S 5 or S 75 but you can also get the Ubahn down ,U7 . Opening time's are; Monday to Sunday 10am till 2am. Great cafe and well worth checking out.

When going to the S-bahn station in Spandau after visiting Brauhaus Spandau we came across this great cafe bar in Spandau.Cafe Lutetia is a great cafe to relax and have a good German beer.When here we opted to sit outside and have a Erdinger Weißbier served in perfect condition at a very reasonable price.Staff here were first rate spoke good English and were very helpful and friendly.The cafe is light and airy inside with fantastic lighting it also has great outside seating areas.A great cafe and well worth a visit.Located in the neighborhood area of Berlin called Spandau on Judenstraße. Opening hours are. Monday-Sunday-Don't know Nearest U-or-S bahn or tram. Spandau-S5-S75 Alte-Spandau-U7

You know it when you get there. I mean, you sometimes choose a restaurant or a bar randomly. You step inside, and bingo! This is the place! That's what happened to me when I first entered Lutetia on a chilly December afternoon. Almost as if I'd had a good time there only the previous evening and now come back to say thanks to the staff. I / we did not eat there, but the menu looked OK, and those who had something to eat looked happy enough with their meals. If I ever visit Spandau/Berlin again, I'll go and have another beer and Kirschwasser!
