  • We first discovered Cafe Phin during the Gay Pride parade, and didn't take note of the name of the place. We just got a pork belly bahn mi sandwich to go and went on our merry way. It was excellent and so refreshing on a hot day! I was very pleased to re-find this place on recent trip into Vancouver! We tried the pork belly one and the Lemongrass Chicken one,and now I'm SO in love with their sandwiches, I will come back every time I come to the city!

  • Regularly come here for both lunch and dinner. Top class service with middle range price. The staff is very friendly, one of the friendliest I have ever experienced. The food is delightful. Been trying almost all the choices on the menus, and all of them are worthy of my appetite. Highly Recommended!

  • About the size of a walk in closet this family run business has relocated from 1st Avenue to Denman. There are four tables and bar sitting on two walls. The staff/family is very friendly and helpful; many of the people who came in seem to be regulars; except first timers like us. You order at the counter, find a seat, and use their free WIFi while you wait a few minutes for the food to be delivered. We tried the Homemade Wonton soup and Beef Ball; both excellent. Prices are affordable and all the food looks very good. We will be back! I did put in for an address change but the phone number is correct.

  • My husband & I went here on a Friday evening at 9pm (closes at 10pm). Here being the location on 976 Denman St. I have been wanting to stop in for a while having been enticed by the yummy looking food being enjoyed by diners sitting at the window (and being given "thumbs up" when it was apparent I was admiring their dishes.) We had #10 pork & shrimp wonton rice noodle soup (very tasty if a bit sweet), prawn papaya salad (yummy), prawn salad rolls (fresh,tasty). The young waiter was very friendly with prompt & efficient service. This is not fine dining but I love the window seats at this small spot enjoying good food & people watching. It will get busier as the word gets out. We certainly will be back!
