This location has serious staff issues. There is rarely anyone out at the hostess desk. Even though I have never seen the restaurant even 1/4 full, takes far too long. The food is consistently Swiss Chalet fare.

7 people on a Saturday afternoon restaurant was fairly empty but orders took fairly long to be completed. Waitress was exceptional considering she was covering half of the restaurant alone. She supplied us coffee and drinks at a great pace and took our orders fairly quickly. Only reason for average rating was the time it took to receive meals food was very similar to other restaurants.

We ordered three different meals - the light quarter chicken with garden salad, the veggie burger, and a meal made up of two sides - salad and fries. The food was all very good, though the best value was in the two sides. Service was prompt and attentive.

My family and I love eating at Swiss Chalet. Every time we are in Canada Swiss Chalet is a must. Swiss Chalet claims that its signature rotisserie chicken is based on a Swiss recipe, and to be honest, we do not really care whether it is Swiss or not, we just love it. Off course, the restaurant features a menu that is centered around its signature item, rotisserie chicken. The Quarter Chicken Dinner includes a roasted chicken leg or breast with "Chalet Sauce", a bread roll, and a side dish of choice. Other combinations up to and including a whole chicken are also available. I love white meat so I always take the Quarter chicken very well done and it is great. Although chicken dishes are the chain's most known dishes you can also find chicken soups, salads, pastas and sandwiches. This time we also had a a non-chicken dish as my husband decided to try the pork ribs. I also tried them and they were delicious, tender, well made. Thumbs up to Swiss Chalet. Not a fancy shmancy restaurant, just good food.
