This place is a pub with small brewery in 1 place (you can actually see giant beer vats while sitting and drinking, they also provide brewery "tours"). Most beer is marvelous: we tried American Pale Ale, Stout, Christmas Beer 2016, and Black I.P.A, and found these excellent! (Weizen was so-so, however.) Cheeseburger with jalapeño was also quite good. Service is a bit slow, but acceptable. In total, this place was quite enjoyable :)

I strongly advice breewed beer rather than bottled beer. They have a wide variaty of choices. In addition their burgers are good. If you can not decide or do not know which beer to choose just order beer plate. They will bring you all of their breewed beers in 100 ml form in small glasses. After tasting all you can decide what to order. In addition i recommend the tour to their beer tanks and their breewing process. It worths the fee of 10 dolars. As a conclusion clean and good enviroment with a wide variaty of beers and food.

I am a big beer lover and it is quite hard to make me happy with the level of beer. This pub in Moscow was one of the best beer places I have visited. Very nice atmosphere and good quality of service! What is the most important - pub owners are real fans of what they do!!!

Living in London it is hard to be impressed by a pub, however 1516 was an amazing surprise and a great find for beer lowers. Cool green decor nicely contrasts with copper brewery. The beer is brewed on the spot and is freshly served, we sat at the bar as sampled few varieties ranging from light clear beer to ale, Weizen and IPA are especially remarkable, Weizen if you like unfiltered beer which was my favourite. Snacks were varied and generous, especially I recommend steamed prawns in shell and white almonds as a healthy alternative to crisps to compliment chilled beer. Atmosphere is relaxed and decor is classic with a twist. A must visit!
