Extensive cocktail and spirits menu, you are served cooled water and nuts with drinks, very friendly and helpful staff, super clean and tidy a real delight. Cocktails €9-€11

The place is quite spaceous with a remarkable atmosphere. The ladies serving you are quick, friendly and nice. You can find a lot of labels. My choice was Bushmills 12 years old, feeling like velvet in the mouth. A good choice for whiskey night out in central Athens.

I have been in Athens many times and I stay at the Hilton. I never knew that this gem was across the street. I walked in with my wife and our friends from Athens. I was amazed by the selection and the service. I was also given a private tour of the cellar where I was able to see rare whiskys from Macallan and Glenlivit. Great atmosphere. We were very much impressed by the collection of malts; it seems actually equivalent to the "House of Malts" in Edimbourg, right below the Castle. The selection also includes a large variety of Japanese whiskeys; service is excellent and very "professional"; seating not very comfortable. Air-conditioning not satisfactory and as most of the customers are allowed to some (quite a few smoke cigars) the atmosphere is rather depressing. Music played a bit louder than expected. Some rare malts are overpriced but anyway, if you are a fan of malt whiskey, do not hesitate to visit the CV Distillery!
