This is a restaurant I had always liked for several years. Over time, the quality of the food became less consistent, until recently. My last visit to this restaurant was the last straw. The roast pork, which they are known for, was done poorly and was tough, but the worst was the dessert (pancake). The pancake was soft instead of crispy. I complained to the manager (a young fella with spectacles), who appeared to listen to my complaints, but in reality you know he didn't give a care. If he did, he would have at least substituted the soft pancake with another. This restaurant is typical of one which enjoyed good success but over time became arrogant and complacent, and now produces lousy food on a consistent basis. No more return visits there, and I suggest readers think several times before patronizing them.

I have been here a few times . The food is always consistent in quality . They offer delicious , authentic , Hong Kong - style dishes . The price is a bit more compared to the local fare we usually find around KL , but it's not very steep . It's still affordable and quite reasonable . The roast duck is a winner here . And apparently , my friends agree that the roast pork and especially the BBQ pork (charsiew) are too . Service is decent . It's a step better than service at hawker stalls . They can be rather rough and brusque , and maybe communicate more than just with grunts . So , get the ladies or the manager to serve you . They're better . And they smile . Overall , worth the trip over !

My partner and I had patronised this place about 3 years ago and had no compelling reason for a return. Today as a result of severe traffic jam caused by a very heavy downpour, we decided to have dinner before continuing to our final destination. The place was crowded as many customers were also avoiding the traffic jam. Service was consequently slow. The BBQ pork (char siu) and roast pork (siu yoke ) were merely average in taste and texture. Surely don't merit the slogan of "King of Roasts ".The braised tofu with minced pork and stir fried lotus root with mixed vegetables were okay. This place is mainly patronised by neighborhood residents and there is no nearby competitor. There's free WiFi to distract customers whilst the orders are executed.
