Victoria Station has been long established and almost a household name in Jalan Ampang. The ambience is still nice with a real train carriage and an old phone booth which one don't get to see nowadays anymore. Service is prompt, the entree was okay and so was the soup. However when our steak came, 6 altogether, it was not hot anymore. Maybe they should not have waited for all to be ready to serve and should just serve as each is ready. Taste was not as good as we expected though. Overall its just what you pay for. Thumbs up for their attentive staff.

visited the restaurant again last week. had a couple of live lobsters, nicely done. had the lamb as well, it was alright. the escargots was amazing.generally the food is getting better. service was great, as always. went early this time, so parking was plenty.

Upstairs fine dining was a hit. Good starters and steak. Go for the meat, it was cooked properly. Service was friendly and efficient with good beverage list.

Victoria Station in those days used to be our favourite restaurant. But now, the prices are just ridiculously high, portion is appalling (the steaks used to come with a big bowl of salad, steak on a sizzling plate with a big roasted potato for about RM 30 the cheapest). Now the cheapest steak is RM 63 & what you get is a tiny bit of mash potatoes, tiny roasted vegetables; all of which served in an ordinary white plate. The value for money is simply not worth it. Atmosphere is really bad; whole place looks dingy & outdated. This will be my last ever visit. I rather go to a hotel and eat steak for that pricing:(. Shame that this place has lost it touch.. All the prices have massively increased. Not worth it at all ..
