I am always a fan of Japanese BBQ, and especially it involved beef (and pork). I find that there is wide spread of meat selection (chicken, beef, pork, even seafood). Price is on the higher side, but overall enjoyable experience!

Visited this restaurant last weekend as recommended by a lot of bloggers. I was quite sceptical about the reviews as I always thought they paid those bloggers to write good reviews on them but once I stepped in Gyukingu Japanese BBQ, I began to love it! A very nice cozy ambience with soft lighting welcomed us followed by a friendly waiter to guide us to our seats. The best part is the whole restaurant has a good ventilation! No more smelly blouse after this! We ordered a simple combo beef set with a bowl of fresh salad because we were actually rushing for a movie. Other restaurants usually serve 'lower quality' meats for a combo set but NOT in GJB here. We were amazed by the generous amount of beef slices served in the combo set, fresh beef slices awaiting us.We bbq the meat ourselves and dipped the meat into a simple Japanese soy sauce and wow! The succulent meat actually melt in our mouth! It tasted sooooo good that we almost laughed out.The simple fresh salad was a bomb too as they crafted the Japanese cucumber nicely and lettuce topped up with fresh sesame sauce...Yummy! Too bad we were in rush, but we will definitely coming back for more! Saga beef and wagyu beef! Double thumbs up!
