Service was bad, music too loud (went there during dinner time, around 8pm), environment resembled a shisha club rather than a restaurant.The menu was more western than Nepali, with only a single page for Nepali food. We really wanted to like this place, but were thoroughly disappointed. Ended up walking out to find another restaurant.

The food here is the best Indian food I've ever had, hands down. The staff is very friendly and they also know how to do shisha incredibly well. It's got a good atmosphere, good location, and good prices. Highly recommended as an evening hangout for dinner, beers, and smokes.

After a sumptuous dinner, I had the urge for nice Karrak Indian chai (tea). I landed up in Cafe Kathmandu which is next to Hotel Alpha Genesis where I was staying. Good ambiance. Prompt and friendly service. I requested them to play some Nepali songs and they did. Reasonably priced Indian and Nepali food in the menu. Also other cuisines available. Nice place to relax and hang around.

This cafe is more like a bar and restaurant so don't be fooled by the name! It is definitely one of the cheaper and nicer places to have a drink in the evening with some food or for a proper meal anytime. Definitely one of my best experiences in three days in KL! Great staff, and clean place.
