  • The ambience is good although the waiting time is pretty extended if you order something that requires more preparations. However, the spicy fries are really good so order them and you will find that they are finger licking good!!!

  • A new outlet for this cafe was opened in the Alpha at Science Park 2. I was initially thrilled as this is the only place selling salad, wrap, and Arabica coffee in the vicinity. On my first visit, I found the food average. On my second visit, I was taken aback by the rude service. I ordered a wrap and told the service staff attending to me that I'd like onions. Then I saw an egg and said that I would have egg instead. I noticed that she was already taking out a new batch of onions, so I said it's alright, I'd stick with the onions. Surprisingly, the female service staff besides her (the one wrapping and toasting the wrap) suddenly grabbed the egg and was about to cut it. I told her not to do so, as I would have the onion instead. She glared at me and told me, "Make up your mind." I was really surprised as I was being attended to by her colleague and part of my changing my decision was because her colleague didn't respond to my request to change to egg, thus I felt that it's easier to stick to my initial choice. I was initially reluctant to go back for a second visit, but succumbed to my colleague's request. This unpleasant experience, however, really made up my mind to stop patronizing Reedz. The lady might just be having a bad day and wanted to get the wrap as quickly as possible, but that's still not a good reason for her to be so rude. On a side note, my wrap broke so she simply wrapped another layer over it so I ended up with a really thick wrap. As the ceiling is high and the space is huge, it's quite difficult to listen to one another in the premise. To make things easier, it may be good to label each of the ingredient and include a sign informing customer of how many toppings they are allowed to choose so they can make up their mind even before it's their turn to order. Plus points: 1. Refreshing, not too sweet iced lemon tea 2. Rich mushroom soup 3. Vietnamese chilli sauce goes well with the wrap - the kind of sauce you find in Chinese restaurants in the U.

  • It's a cute cafe no doubt about it. Had carbonara, some teas and cakes which all seem rather pleasant. The staff were friendly as well though! :D Sum things up, it's a lovely place to chill and enjoy the simpler pleasures in life. Though its rather crowded on weekends, but I see no problem in that :)
