We had a great time at Papa's Music Garden. Delicious food combined with great hosting services were the ingredients for a great evening. We wish we had had discover it earlier during our stay on Koh Samui.

We have eaten here everyday at least once. We tried several German and Thai dishes such as cheese noodles (Käsespätzle), Schnitzel, self-made Meatloaf (Leberkäse), filled pepper's or red curry. Especially the soup of the day a clear German bouillon with meat dumblings (Brätknödel) tastes fabulous. Everything is made of fresh quality ingredients, regular consistency and excellent customer service, which includes that the owner 'Papa' sometimes takes the order himself and looks after you. On some days the amazing dine experience is further extended through live music from Bands playing on a thoughtful prepared stage next to the restaurant. If you are on Koh Samui you should not leave before you have hade an dinner here.

My husband and I visited this restaurant while on our honeymoon in Koh Samui in November. It was recommended to us by the head chef of our hotel (Zazen - such a beautiful place to stay!) as his favourite place to eat on his day off - given the amazing quality of the food at our hotel that seemed like a good enough recommendation to us! The restaurant was set no more than a 10 minute walk for us and was mostly outdoors. We enjoyed both Thai and German food (Papa is German and has an incredible story if he get to talk to him). Everything was fresh and being cooked in front of us in the open kitchen. We enjoyed the schnitzel, spring rolls and that dishes. Cold beer made for a great welcome drink on a warm evening and Papa made sure these were topped on throughout our time there. When we said we'd like to go for a walk around the Fisherman's Village a taxi was arranged for us (it would have been about 40 mins to walk so we saved this energy for when we got there!) and we were waved off by Papa and the team. Everyone was so friendly and the restaurant was very relaxed making it a real pleasure to spend the evening there.

This place is also known as BAMBOO PARK. As it's low season in Samui, the bungalow we stayed was not adorable as we thought for honey moon. However, everything got better when we found Papa's Music Garden! The Thai food the lady made was amazing and swept all the bad mood away!So we visited there the next day. The Hamburgers Papa made were better than we had in New York and Shanghai! !! What A Surprise! Besides, chatting with Papa was so happy! Papa and Mama also gave us a lot advise for traveling around Samui.
